Proper fertilization with soil analysis
The soil analyses conducted by İGSAŞ together with leading farmers as part of the ‘From the Field to the Table’ project continue in 2018. For this purpose, meetings were held with nearly 400 leading farmers in Kayseri, Samsun, Niğde, Manisa, Balıkesir, Eskişehir and Kastamonu in the first quarter of the year. Within the scope of the project, the program ‘From the Field to the Table’ was broadcasted on Köy TV and ‘MinneTARIM for my soil’ on Doğal TV, explaining the methods that farmers should employ. / (p. 20)

Steel industry gathering
The first industry gathering of SteelOrbis Market Talks in 2018 took place on February 8 at Bursa Crowne Plaza and the second on March 7 in İzmir at the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry Assembly Hall. In addition to senior executives from the leading companies of the steel industry as well as senior officials from sectors such as logistics and finance, Yıldız Demir Çelik, an important investment of Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding, participated in the meetings. / (p. 22)

The 2018 targets of İGSAŞ discussed
The paint and cold rolling lines at Yıldız Demir Çelik were launched on March 30 with an opening ceremony attended by Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding’s Chairman Fehmi Yıldız and Board Members Hakkı Yıldız and Hasan Yıldız as well as executives from Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding, İGSAŞ and Yıldız Entegre.
