A world star: Yıldız Entegre Romania
Yıldız Entegre Romania, which adds value to Turkey through its domestic operations as well as production abroad, is a c ross-border investment of Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding. The plant that was launched in February 2018 to export MDF, MDFLam, HG MDF, parquet and MDF doors worldwide is located in the Oarja commune close to Pitesti, Romania. The plant is situated on 460,000 square meters of land and is set to become one of Yıldız Entegre’s overseas operation centers due to its location.
The plant was launched on February 2 with the production starting in the parquet unit. The first sheet production took place on April 14 in the presence of the Board of Directors. With test production ongoing at full speed, the plan is to start actual production in three shifts as early as possible. Mustafa Korkmaz, General Manager, Yıldız Entegre Romania says that they have gained important experience during the time until the launch of the plant and that there is still a long way to go. The fact that the products produced at the Romanian plant, which is the most important step for Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding toward becoming a global player, will be exported to countries worldwide with the “Made in Europe” mark, makes this investment even more significant.

Yıldız Entegre USA
ıldız Entegre USA is Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding’s gateway to the United States of
America. The plant was opened in April 2011 in Wilmington, NC on a land of approximately 1.5 acres to produce and supply the raw materials required for production. Following the growing needs of the forestry products industry in Turkey, Yıldız Entegre USA opened its second plant in January 2016 on a 1.5-acre land in Theodore, AL and the third
in July 2017 on 2.2 acres in Morehead, NC. Yıldız Entegre USA, which was initially launched
for wood chip business went on to gain an integrated structure with the aim of reaching
the capacity to supply all the demand of Yıldız Entegre’s wood processing facilities. With a production volume exceeding 700 thousand tons today, Yıldız Entegre USA is now able to meet the full demand of Yıldız Entegre for soft wood chips.
Under normal conditions, annual production volumes are 280,000 tons in Wilmington, NC, 260,000 tons in Theodore, AL and 170,000 tons in Morehead, NC. The wood procured from American suppliers is made into chips at the plants and then sold directly. Taner Başağa, General Manager, Yıldız Entegre USA, explains the production processes, “We spend a lot of effort and energy for each operation during the start-up stages. Therefore, we take extra care in carrying out all of our processes in full compliance with the guidelines and regulations.”

arioagro Urea Ammonium Nitrate Fertilizer Solution (UAN 32), which is a liquid fertilizer produced by İGSAŞ, meets requirements of the plant to the
maximum with 32% nitrogen in its content created through chemical reactions. The ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and urea nitrogen forms in its content meet the plant’s nitrogen deficiency to a great extent. UAN 32, which can be applied through foliage or using drip irrigation method, improves the growth rate of the plant and helps the development of the roots and branches.
